ASSESMENT OF ZAPORIZKA NUCLEAR POWER STATION’S POND-COOLER WATER QUALITY BY BIOLOGICAL INDICATION METHOD

The results of research of thephyto- and zooplankton communities of the Zaporizka Nuclear Power Station’s pond-coolerare presented. It is established the saprobity status of the water and the species diversity index of Shannon.

Key words: water quality, phytoplankton, zooplankton, biological indication, water-cooling water body.
