Plagiarism

Plagiarism, including self-citation, is unacceptable and is considered a violation of academic integrity.

The editorial board checks all received materials for plagiarism in all forms, using appropriate software. Authors can receive detailed results of the check upon separate request.

Materials with a plagiarism rate of more than 25% are not accepted for consideration, from 15 to 25% are returned for revision, and less than 15% are immediately sent to reviewers.

The following are excluded from the plagiarism quota: standard methods (hydrochemical, mathematical-statistical, etc.), commonly used names (geographical, systematic, etc.), formulas (ichthyological, etc.).
