“Fisheries Science of Ukraine” is a scientific journal, which has been published in Ukraine since 2007.
Founder and publisher of the journal – Institute of Fisheries of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (http://if.org.ua).
State registration of mass media – certificate KB № 12495-1379Р of 19.04.2007, re-registration in 2014 – certificate КВ № 20934-10734ПР of 18.08.2014.
“Fisheries Science of Ukraine” is included in the List of Specialized Publications of Ukraine, which can be used for publishing results of Doctor’s and Candidate’s theses (biological and agricultural specialties – 091, 207), category “B”, recertification of 17.03.2020 (decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No409)
The Journal is open for free access by the Main Scientific Library of Ukraine – V.I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine ( http://nbuv.gov.ua).

Research papers are published in Ukrainian and English.
The Journal is published based on the decision of the Academic Council of the Institute of Fisheries of the NAAS.
The Editorial Board is composed of leading scientists from different countries of the world. The current list of editorial board members is presented in the Editorial Staff section.
Periodicity – 4 times per year. It is inacceptable for the publisher to break the established terms of publication and release of any issue of the Journal out-of-term.
The journal has own web-site http://fsu.ua.
The editorial board considers as a priority to include the Journal into international abstract and scientometric databases.
