THE POSSIBILITY OF USAGE OF THE SCALE INDEX TO IDENTIFY SLOW-GROWING FORM OF ROACH (RUTILUS RUTILUS L.)

The possibility of usage the scale index, which was proposed for gold fish (Carrasius auratus gibelio Bloch), for roach (Rutilus rutilus L.) slow-growing form identification was estimated. The scales Length-weight proportion are variable depending on place on body, so only scales placed above lateral line (N 12–23 counting from head) should be used.
